The 10’6″, 1 to 3 oz is an excellent choice for set rig fishing or throwing 2 oz lures. The ES Lure Herbie or OJ Minnow 200 are great choices for this rod.

The 9’6″ model is also great for an up-close set rig rod or roaming the beach throwing 1.5 oz to 2 oz lures at species such as Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and jacks.
