Frisky Fins Olive Pompano Rig

Running surf fishing charters in the Florida Panhandle, we have noticed over time that when sand fleas are scarce, larger floats on pompano rigs tend not to work as well. When coquina clams are present, that’s likely what the pompano are feeding on. Dropping your float size from a sand flea profile to a clam profile can greatly intensify the bite.
